Welcome to Prairie Heights Middle School

Plans are underway for the construction of a new middle school, slated to open by the fall of 2015. In November, voters approved an $8.2 million bond, used to pay the 28 percent local match for a Building Excellent Schools Today grant. The issue passed with  nearly 59 percent of the vote. Through the BEST grant, the John Evans replacement school project will receive 72 percent funding from the State of Colorado. The new school is now being designed and construction should begin in the winter of 2014. We plan to build the best middle school in the state, with the latest technology and design innovations.
